Cheesy Italian Beef Crostini

Ingredients:
- 12 slices of french bread, sliced
- 2 tablespoons butter, softened
- 1 teaspoon minced garlic
- 1 teaspoon of Silver Spring Prepared Horseradish
- pinch of salt and pepper
- 4 ounces deli roast beef
- 1/2 cup microgreens or chopped chives
- 6 grape tomatoes
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 1 cup cashew milk (or milk of choice)
- 5 ounces gruyere cheese, shredded
- 1 teaspoon of Silver Spring Prepared Horseradish
- pinch of salt and pepper
Directions:
- Heat broiler.
- Mix the butter, garlic, Silver Spring Prepared Horseradish, salt, and pepper together.
- Spread on crostini and broil for 3-4 minutes, until the butter is melted and the toast is browned.
- In a pot, melt the butter.
- Add flour and cook for one minute.
- Slowly add milk, constantly stirring until thickened.
- Stir in cheese, Silver Spring Prepared Horseradish & salt and pepper to taste.
- Place some of the cheese sauce on the crostini, top with roast beef, drizzle more cheese sauce on top and finish off with a slice of the grape tomato and microgreens.
Enjoy! The best part about this appetizer is it's delicious right out of the oven and at room temperature.
